Julie, my wife of over 30 years, manages Tacoma's North End Pet Hospital.  She was born in Puunene, Hawaii and we met water-skiing with friends in Honolulu.

Father of two boys, age 28 and 23, employed as a computer specialist for The Emerald Queen Casino and as a quality control specialist at Boeing respectively, I have owned my home in Tacoma's North End for almost 25 years.  It's one of those wonderful old homes, built in 1911, which is a constant chore to maintain, and has undergone extensive renovation.

For fun, I race yachts all over Puget Sound from Olympia to Victoria, British Columbia.  Recently, I've been racing on Zealot, a J-33 owned by my friend in Olympia, Liberte, a C&C 115 from Des Moines, Flying Circus, moored in Olympia and a few other boats.  I'm a member of the Tacoma Yacht Club.

I spend time working and sailing Red Jacket, a quite-famous Puget Sound schooner that is 70 feet (more-or-less).  She is a wonderful old wooden boat - the first to be built by the old and famous Blanchard Company in Seattle.

I have done a fair amount of fly-fishing in Oregon, Wyoming and in New Hampshire.
